This is a 1964 SMLE NO.1 MK 3 made for the India police force. This is the last year before they went to the 7.62 nato. This is a 303 British. I got on trade but want to put some money towards other builds. Does not have original stock, but they can be found. Matching numbers on barrel and action. Barrel rifling and crown are still in excellent shape. Barrel hasn’t been cut or modified. Action is still smooth as butter. Would love to keep but need to get some other projects done would like $200 or best offer comes with 18 rounds and ammo is easy to get for these still
