Id vary your rounds heavy solids and HP
Im no expert on grizzlys. But I shot a black bear several times with in 30 yards and less , with heavy solids in my 10mm 1911 and little to no blood and never was able to recover it . Take it for what it is free info ,you do you

I have 2nd hand info with buffalo bore hardcast 9mm. Works just fine with Montana brown bear. Another firearms instructor killed a grizzly rather effectively. You have to have good hits with good ammo.
