Sheriff’s First is one of the most important bills that Montana gun owners have always strongly supported. We have driven it through legislature twice before only to be vetoed twice by former governors like Steve Bullock. Gianforte will sign it. *Ilhan Omar may have lied about the year she was born in order to get what's called "derivative citizenship" when her father, who came to the U.S. as a "refuge" from Somalia in 1995 with her, was granted citizenship in 2000. Minor children are automatically granted citizenship with their parents and don't have to go through the process.

But her birth year used to be listed as 1981, which would have made her an adult at the time of her father's naturalization, so she wouldn't have qualified for "derivative" or automatic citizenship as a minor child of a new naturalized citizen. Today she claims her birth year was 1982, which if true, means she would have been 17 back then and qualified.

If she lied to to avoid the process and get an easy derivative citizenship authorization, then she committed immigration fraud, and will hopefully be deported.

That's why her home was raided today by DHS. Or she married her brother to get him citizenship, which is also fraud. Or maybe she did both. She is Somali, after all, and we know how good they are at scheming and working the system.* - Mark Dice
