Reached out to me to offer $100 over my asking price on a gun if I would be willing to hold it for a week and then drive to Bozeman to meet up for the sale. I messaged back within the next 30 minutes accepting the offer and giving my phone number to set up a plan for meeting. Sent multiple messages throughout the week to see if they were still interested, but they never even read my first response. I missed out on multiple sales of my firearm because I thought I was being a good guy and holding it for the first person who made an offer, come to find out I'm the fool. I guess I should've known it was a scam when they offered more than the asking price.
