Happy Thursday Montana! The anti-gun hacktivists have been at it again. Over the last couple of weeks what we can only assume is, anti-gun entities have been targeting our new server. You may have noticed crazy amounts of post views the last few weeks. These dirtbags commandeer IP's and program them to make massive amounts of requests. A request is a message that a browser sends to a web server. It asks the server to provide data, load a page, or accept information that interacts with the site. This drastically affects server resources. They are doing this to slow down the site, making it difficult for users like you to use the site and driving out our audience. Ultimately if we're unable to stop them, they might even make ransom requests to stop their attacks. We won't be doing that and have employed methods to stop and block them. Below find the number of requests made by IP address from the worst offenders made from Tuesday + 24 hours. These IP's are all now automatically blocked after x amount of requests.
