Marlin 1893 leveraction rifle, 26″ in barrel with half mag. 38-55 cal. Rifle has dark bore but was just checked out by Bass’s gun shop. Ser number indicated it is from 1901 with Smokeless barrel. Appears to be factory drilled for Climbin Lyman sight (Lyman 21 or 38). Time to make room for another project.
