I never thought that this would happen but I have lost interest in the Mosin game and am wanting to sell these off to finance other projects. 2 rifles are offered for sale to a MT resident with the ability to own firearms. All of the ammo lots just recently came out of USGI ammo can long term storage with desiccant packs. It was purchased new or new surplus by me and stored dry over the last 15 years or so.
Prices are for cash sales and I would prefer cash but I might be open to a trade if it strikes my fancy.
Please feel free to text me: FiveOhNine-NineNineEight-ZeroFourOneFour
you can also email. Both work for me. I live and work in Kalispell, might travel locally for the right deal or for someone who wants the whole shebang.
Item #1 (Pics 1&2): 1939 Izzy M1891/30 $450
This rifle is the one that I have kept over the years because it is just a solid shooter. Bore is very nice with strong rifling. It will ring steel at all the yardages that you want and it papers really nicely at 100 yards. Comes with Bayonet and sling.
Item #2 (Pics 3-5): 1942 M1891/59 $650
This is truly a gem. The 91/59 was a post WWII creation using WWII surplus Mosin 91/30’s. The surplus rifles were re-arsenaled (factory rebuild basically) and at the same time the barrel length was reduced to create a handy little carbine. They were primarily given to the lesser states in the Com-Bloc as a means of arming a lot of troops cheaply. That being said this particular 91/59 is the nicest I have ever seen and that is why I have held on to it. Shoots great and puts off a hell of a fireball, gets a lot of attention at the range. Comes with Sling. Please look these up before you question my pricing.
Item #3 (Pic 6): Sealed 1972 Silver Tip Spam Can 440 rounds $325
My last sealed Spam Can from over the years. I have the opening tool for it somewhere, but to be honest just about anything works better than the tool it comes with.
Item #4 (Pic 7): I have 3 of these available $150 each
200 rounds of Silver Tip surplus ammo and ten stripper clips. Ammo came out of Spam Cans identical to the one in Item #3.
Item 5 (Pic 8): 1 available $150
200 rounds of surplus ammo and ten stripper clips. I forget the country of origin but these are also out of a Spam Can. These are not silver tip, just standard copper wash surplus ammo.
Item #6 (Pic 9): 100 rounds of commercial hunting ammo $100
Not much else to say, new commercial ammunition excellent for game gathering.
Item #7 (Pic 10): 75 rounds loose misc. surplus ammo $50
This is just the loose stuff from my ammo cans. Some plain old copper wash, some silver tip, and a few brass cased soft point hunting rounds.
Item #8 (Pic 11): Mosin Bandolier with 90 rounds on strippers $125
This is a homespun creation of mine. It consists of three Mosin ammo pouches strung together on a surplus Mosin sling. It holds three loaded stripper clip per compartment. I made this back when the 91/30 was my go to SHTF rifle and I wanted a portable ammo supply that I could quickly sling on and go. This pack contains my last supply of Yellow Tip ammo, which if memory serves is a heavier grain weight than the other surplus ammo.
Item #9 (Pic 12): Mosin Parts Kit $175
This is something that I harvested off of a horribly butchered sporter Mosin. All the parts are good but the rifle itself was so shot and hacked up that it became a tomato stake in my garden. This set contains every removable metal internal piece for a Mosin Nagant. It also has a complete bolt, with a shabbily done turn down, but the bolt is good. and complete. Stock hardware and some other odds and ends as well. This was part of my ‘if something breaks’ safety kit for my SHTF Mosin at the time.
